This policy applies to the Fizaki website and app (library, discover, reader, mood, My Daydream, profile, and related features). It does not cover third-party websites you reach through links we do not control.

We collect information you provide, information generated through your use of the service, and limited technical data.

• Account: email address, password (stored and processed by Supabase Auth — we do not store your plain-text password), optional display name, profile image URL if you add one, email verification status, and account role.
• Subscription: plan type (Free or Premium), subscription status, and Razorpay customer or subscription identifiers. Payment card details are handled entirely by Razorpay; we do not receive or store your full card number.
• Reading activity: story identifiers, scene position, reading percentage, device identifier stored in your browser (fizaki-device-id), and a coarse device type (e.g. mobile) derived from your browser when you save progress.
• Bookmarks and highlights: scene references, character offsets, optional notes, highlight colour, and the text you select when highlighting.
• Mood preference: a number from 1 (Gentle) to 5 (Consuming) on our servers, and optionally the same value in your browser local storage (fizaki-mood) for faster loading.
• My Daydream (personalized stories): optional your name, his name, what you like about him, scenario description, and mood level — stored as fantasyInputs on your private story record.
• Reader preferences: theme, font size, and line height stored locally (fizaki-reader) on your device.
• Share links: if you enable sharing on a personalized story, we store a share token that allows anyone with the link to read that story without signing in.
• AI generation logs: for stories created or edited with AI, we may store prompt snapshots, system prompts, model name, token usage, cost estimates, and success or error messages for operations, security, and billing.
• Communications: if you email us, we retain the content and metadata needed to respond.

• Provide and maintain your account, library, and reading experience.
• Sync reading progress, bookmarks, and highlights across devices when you are signed in.
• Recommend stories based on your mood and reading preferences.
• Generate personalized stories through My Daydream when you request them.
• Process Premium subscriptions and prevent fraud.
• Improve reliability, debug errors, and monitor AI usage and cost.
• Enforce our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
• Comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for third-party advertising profiles.

We use trusted providers who process data on our behalf under contractual obligations:

• Account and reading data: retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion to allow recovery from accidental deletion, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations — typically up to 90 days unless a longer period is required by law.
• AI generation logs: retained for up to 90 days after creation, or until the associated story is deleted, whichever is earlier, unless we must retain longer for security or legal reasons.
• Payment records: retained as required for tax, accounting, and Razorpay reconciliation.
• Local storage on your device: remains until you clear browser data or uninstall the app.

Under applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 where it applies to our processing, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, withdraw consent, and lodge a grievance. To exercise these rights, email curioversitylearning@gmail.com from your registered account email with a clear description of your request. We may need to verify your identity before acting.

• Update your display name through your profile where available.
• Clear mood and reader preferences by clearing site data in your browser.
• Revoke a share link from within My Daydream when the feature is available.
• Request account deletion by emailing us; we will delete or anonymize personal data except where retention is legally required.

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), authenticated access controls, and hosted infrastructure from reputable providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

• Marketing descriptions on our website (including pricing features such as offline reading) describe our intentions and may change; only this policy and our Terms govern data practices.
• Highlights may contain excerpts from stories you choose to save; treat them as personal notes you control.
• If you share a My Daydream link, anyone with that link may access the story content until you revoke the link.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app notice where appropriate. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
